🦌 the deer is a majestic animal we see on our walks quite often. My boys were mesmerised by seeing the Giant Elk (prehistoric deer) in Dublin's dead zoo (Natural history museum) and my kids have been fascinated with them since. Let alone the connection with Santa 🎅🤶🧑‍🎄

Oisín was the son of legendary Irish figure Fionn Mac Cumhail. Oisín means little deer as his mother was transformed into a deer and he was part raised by his deer mother in the wild. Little wonder that Oisín named his son Oscar. Os = deer and cara = friend.
