A4 Eala - Swan

🦢 Inspired from Irish story "the children of Lir". My kids asked me to tell them a story while we were out on a walk and a swan swam by us at that moment. "The children of Lir" is the tradic a story of 4 children🧒👦👧🧑 who lost their mother and were cursed by their stepmother - transformed into swans cursed to roam the water for 900 years before they were laid to rest.

The swan is a symbol of love and loyalty as swans mate for life. Their "kiss" resembles the shape of a heart ❤️ and they were also the symbol of Apollo who was the Greek god of music and dance. The swan makes many appearances in the arts with painters painting Apollo and Leto to the infamous swan lake.
